Starting with a box and an imbedded bottle, I used LEDs to illuminate the "underground" shrine centered between two typewriter ribbon spools resting on tiny illuminated plastic champagne glasses. Above ground are some model railroad tress and a skylight peaking into the world below.

A rare, for me, narrative piece examining addictive behavior hidden out of sight...below the surface.
