GALLERIES > ART that SOLD

I never create this way. I always start with Stuff then let let that Stuff guide me to bring it together with other Stuff. This piece started with a sketch. Then I found things that fit the sketch. Process. My favorite part about art making.

The brass measuring device was used to check the levels in a large tank (like a gas station). The wood pieces were discards from earlier projects. There's subtle (for me, anyway!) yellow LED lighting on the interior and an incandescent lamp beneath the red traffic sign lens. Red balls balance things a bit. Oh, the box housed a very old croquet set.
