GALLERIES > ART that SOLD

My wife Jan took this photo of a receding wave on the Oregon coast. The unusual light gave a coppery color to the sand. Tiny rivulets were formed as the water flowed past small pebbles. I photo transferred the image to canvas, patched dropouts with bright orange paint and affixed a reed placemat around the sides. Now what? The idea I came up with looked better finished than I thought it would. The moral to the story: Keep working. Be consistent. Magic happens. And don't forget the cheap plastic trade beads and colored jewelry wire.
