ART that SOLD
A photo taken in our back yard a few years ago photo-transfered to a piece of board that had been stained purple on either end. I love gold tones and purple; can't explain it. Anyway, a casting from a thrift store knick-knack was bent to conform to the flat surface so a watch face and a motor assembly part could be mounted to it. A couple of small birch logs and wooden dowels balanced the other side. Finally, the hardware cloth (screen) that had been used unsuccessfully with one of our fountains in the back yard really wanted to be in this piece. And, yes, the opening was spread just like that when I appropriated it.
