ART that SOLD
The seed for this piece came from the brass rods stuck into a brass bearing ring from an aircraft engine. I filled it with green lights and covered it with a run-over car part. It was only then that I started composing the rest of the junk. The yellow starburst object is from some kind of farm machinery. Rings, a lid, car body part, copper sheet, wood trivet, four healthy chunks of cholla cactus skeletons, a automotive taillight, a buddhist eternal knot carved from wood and some copper wires gathered around the seed piece. Used coffee filters and copper sheets became the flags. The white cartoon-like "pow" shaped plastic took forever to line up with the lights correctly. sigh The bird house came last, a curio from a thrift store sawed in half.
