ART that SOLD
This started with a acrylic medium laser transfer to a small canvas of one of my photographs taken in Peru: the bottom of a reed basket made by the Uros people of the famous man-made floating islands of Lake Titicaca. I decided it needed some sticks so I hand painted 72 sticks in coded patterns that only golden retrievers can decipher and mounted it under part of a clutch plate assembly from a big tractor. It looked rather like a 1950s starburst clock, so I mounted a real, working clock inside. The sides of the frame are covered in sphagnum moss.
