Using a real piece of thin slate as a backdrop, I attached the corner of a picture frame, the pocket from a retired pair of jeans (mine), an equipment cover and a photo of the moon used without permission. The rest of the materials strive to create a balance amidst the chaos of color and texture. Hmm...actually, the color is pretty tame.
