GALLERIES > ART that SOLD

While not the first art, this is the first box I created. I found a stainless steel box marked "maintenance" on the cover, mounted it on a backing of wood and duct tape with a rust effect paint, ran a wire through a metal grid, added a copper sheet from Portugal, a rubber stamp, four miniature soldiers and some dollar store thread spools, all the while documenting the assemblies, painting and pieces with my camera. The resulting photos were Photoshopped, printed and hung by tiny clothespins from the wire. A photograph of the finished right section was Photoshopped in negative and laminated to the wood behind the box lid when it's in the open position. I'd never done anything like that before.
