The background photograph is of some patchwork in the floor of the outside the Taj Mahal in India. Pieces of a mechanical calculator, decorative chain, chunks of discarded wood, a curtain ring, steel wool, some unidentified broken piece and a resin lighthouse from the thrift shop I thought I’d never use make up the piece. Runs on two AA batteries, probably for months.
