This odd little piece has a couple of lenses, one a magnifier and the other an extreme wide angle, mounted in the thin wooden board. The surface behind is only an inch away so the effect is quite dramatic. Various parts light up, including the insides and the small glass vials. The pencils, the gold painted stones and the pieces of a Trivial Pursuit board were last minute additions. The small silk box holds the power supply.
